Café 't Sluisje forced to remove regular tables after complaint: "They've been there for 30 years"

Café 't Sluisje in Amsterdam-Noord has been ordered to remove two popular community tables after a municipal review, triggered by a complaint, found they were situated outside the permitted terrace area. Despite the tables being a fixture for 30 years, a revised map confirmed they occupy unauthorized public space. A petition to preserve the tables has gained nearly 2,000 signatures as local residents and the pub's cooperative owners seek a resolution.
