More people felt unsafe in 2025

According to a survey by the Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS), the number of people in the Netherlands who felt unsafe increased in 2025 compared to two years prior. The report shows that 37 percent of respondents felt unsafe at times, up from nearly 35 percent in 2023.
