Delay of 150 youth housing units over a single parking space leads to new setback as construction costs rise

The construction of approximately 150 youth apartments along the Spaarndamseweg in Haarlem has been delayed due to a parking space shortage, resulting in higher rents to cover increased building costs. These units, part of the '1828' project, will now be more expensive than originally planned as developers seek to recover expenses incurred during the delay.
