Overlooked Twente war story finally gets national stage: ‘It’s time everyone hears this’
Arthur Menko has produced a podcast documenting the life of his great-uncle Sig Menko, a textile tycoon and chairman of the Jewish Council in Enschede during World War II. The project, supported by the EO broadcaster, aims to bring national attention to this overlooked chapter of Dutch history. Menko seeks to highlight a story that was previously omitted from major historical television series.
