A 32-year-old man from Amsterdam has been arrested for attempting to send parcels containing ketamine to Israel using legal postal services. The investigation led to a search of the suspect's home, where police seized packaging materials and electronic data carriers after intercepting two of the illegal shipments.
The Dutch government is seeking a solution for Palestinian asylum seekers who have already been granted asylum in Greece but are reapplying in the Netherlands. While a small group is being returned to Greece, other applications are currently suspended while the individuals are provided with temporary shelter.
