Haarlem is phasing out the use of large Scandinavian boulders in public spaces following growing political opposition. Critics argue that the 'Flower City' should prioritize greenery over stones, leading Alderman Robbert Berkhout to preemptively cancel plans for more boulders in the Koninginnebuurt.
