Coalition and Denk want measures against companies profiting from occupation of Palestinian territories

Amsterdam's governing coalition and the Denk party have proposed thirteen measures to restrict business with companies profiting from the occupation of Palestinian territories. The proposal aims to prioritize human rights in the city's €3.1 billion annual procurement policy and includes plans to support reconstruction efforts in the West Bank. With a majority in the city council, the measures are expected to be discussed during a session this Thursday.
