The Netherlands has announced a new 500 million euro military aid package for Ukraine. Half of the budget will be allocated to purchasing drones from Dutch manufacturers, while the rest will be spent on American weaponry.
The Emperor of Japan began a state visit to the Netherlands with an official ceremony at Dam Square in Amsterdam, where he was received by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. Drinking water company Vitens has warned residents in Northeast Twente that they may experience lower water pressure this summer due to scarce supplies. The company sent letters to affected municipalities explaining that drinkwater stocks are currently limited.
