Traffic chaos due to roadworks on Thorbeckeweg in Zaandam: police issue dozens of fines

Police in Zaanstreek issued dozens of fines to drivers for repeatedly ignoring temporary traffic rules and signals on the Thorbeckeweg in Zaanstad. Over a period of one and a half weeks, authorities recorded 104 violations of mandatory driving directions and 27 instances of running red lights.
