Scooter rider receives four fines in Cuyperspassage, but judge cancels two

A scooter rider who received four fines for driving in the pedestrian-only Cuyperspassage under Amsterdam Central Station successfully appealed to have two of them cancelled. Although the court confirmed the rider violated the rules, it ruled that requiring payment for all four instances was unreasonable because the initial notification was delayed. The city must now pay the rider's legal costs of 316 euros.
