Starting Thursday, parts of the H-buurt and K-buurt in Amsterdam Zuidoost have been designated as high-risk security areas following 18 firearm-related incidents since June. Police are authorized to conduct preventive body searches between August 20 and 27 to address rising concerns over weapon possession and the involvement of minors.
