Four-year prison sentence demanded for man who allegedly defrauded 18 people of 250,000 euros

The Public Prosecution Service has demanded a four-year prison sentence for a 25-year-old Amsterdam man accused of defrauding 18 victims of over 250,000 euros through bank helpdesk scams. The suspect posed as a bank employee to obtain victims' PIN codes and bank cards before being caught in the act by an undercover agent.
