Pride photo op at Stationsplein

An outdoor exhibition titled Queer Radiance, In Common Light has opened at Stationsplein in Haarlem. The project features work from 12 photographers selected by an international jury out of 935 entries submitted from 66 different countries. These photographs highlight diverse global narratives concerning themes such as identity, family dynamics, personal memory, and human connection.

Since 2012, Haarlem has been officially designated as a Rainbow City, reflecting its ongoing commitment to the safety, acceptance, and emancipation of the LGBTQIA+ community. Local officials note that the exhibition aligns with these values by encouraging public visibility and meaningful dialogue among residents and visitors. The event is open to the public free of charge, and interested attendees can view the collection daily at the square until September 30.
