Mart Hoogkamer buys café in Leiderdorp with friends

Singer Mart Hoogkamer has purchased Café Dobbertje in Leiderdorp alongside his friends Remon Ramak and Nicky de Wit. The previous owner was forced to close the establishment after being diagnosed with a tumor on her tongue. While the community expressed sadness over the venue's closure, the former owner is relieved that new buyers were secured to preserve the location.

Although the former owner is uncertain about the group's specific vision for the café, she noted that they lack professional experience in the hospitality industry and maintain busy schedules. Consequently, she does not anticipate the new owners working behind the bar themselves. Hoogkamer, who originates from the neighboring city of Leiden, has seen his management confirm the acquisition, though they have declined to provide further details regarding future plans for the premises.
