Laren overtakes Bloemendaal: average house value hits one million

Laren has overtaken Bloemendaal as the municipality with the highest average property values in the Netherlands, according to new data from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The average WOZ-value in Laren reached €993,000, more than double the national average, followed closely by Bloemendaal and Blaricum. While North Holland municipalities dominate the top rankings, the province of Utrecht currently holds the highest average provincial property value.
