Starting this weekend through August 30, a trial will reserve one lane of the N200 Zeeweg exclusively for a free "beach bus" to Zandvoort and Bloemendaal on weekends. Car traffic will be restricted to a single lane with a reduced speed limit of 60 km/h to help alleviate coastal congestion. Visitors are encouraged to park for free at the EXPO Greater Amsterdam in Vijfhuizen and use the shuttle service to reach the beaches.
